Dr. Walker is a Project System Engineer at NASA Ames Research Center. Prior to his work with Arcus, he was the Kepler/K2 Project System Engineer, where he oversaw the technical management of that mission across the flight segment and ground segments. He also was the System Engineer for LADEE, where he developed requirements and methods for their verification and validation, and developed processes and controls for both I&T and project-level management activities. He also served as the Kepler Onsite Project Representative, in which he coordinated between the program management and contractors in all technical areas from assembly through commissioning. He received a B.S. (aerospace engineering) from University of California, Los Angeles and M.S. and Ph.D. (aerospace engineering) from Stanford University.
